Editing is where the resolution problem really bites.     Why do Qwen Image Edit outputs come back at 1MP?
    The standard Edit pipeline, including the official ComfyUI node, resizes every image to about 1MP before processing, whatever the input size. A 12MP photo goes in, roughly 1000×1000 pixels come out. The model itself can handle much larger images; the cap sits in the tooling, and there’s no official fix yet. The two ways around it: community LoRAs and custom nodes if you self-host, or run the edit as-is and upscale the result here.
    Can Qwen Image Edit upscale images?
    Sort of. There’s no upscale function built in, but community LoRAs like the Upscale2K adapters let you prompt Edit-2509 or 2511 to enlarge a picture, typically landing around 2K. It works, with two catches: it re-diffuses the image, so details can shift, and it needs a self-hosted workflow with the VRAM to match.     What resolution does Qwen Image generate at?
    The open models generate around 1.3–1.7MP depending on aspect ratio; 1:1 comes out at 1328×1328. Qwen Image 2.0 reaches 2048×2048, but only through paid APIs. No Qwen model has native upscaling, so anything bigger means an external pass.
    Is this the official Qwen upscaler?
